What distinguishes The Party Girls Cape Cod from caterers, is that I am a personal chef who specializes in smaller events and parties. I am able to concentrate on creating food that is complex and layered with many flavors and ingredients. I am committed to maximizing and utilizing only the freshest and highest quality of Local and Seasonal ingredients to create healthy, wholesome and delicious food. I take full advantage of the fresh seafood that is in abundance in the waters of Cape Cod and I use organic and sustainable ingredients as well as free range meats and poultry whenever available. All the produce that I handle is washed in purified water prior to use in recipes.
I love to create interesting dishes that use and combine the many spices and techniques from cultures around the world. Knowing that “eye appeal is half the meal,” great attention is used in the presentation of all the dishes. This is my passion. I feel that what I do is a way to nurture and nourish by creating fresh, delicious, and made-from-scratch food for my clients and their guests.
I was greatly influenced and inspired by watching my Cuban relatives around the stove in our kitchen as they lovingly produced savory and aromatic dishes every night. They imparted to me the love of cooking and the knowlege of how powerful a delicious, home cooked meal shared with family and friends can be. I have also studied under an accomplished chef, Maria Laura Ricaud Solorzano, in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, who taught me the sophisticated and complicated methods of traditional Mexican cuisine. I also incorporate my training and knowledge as a certified vegetarian/vegan nutritionist in menu preparation when requested.
I believe that food can still be comforting, and a delicious meal or party can help make memories that last a lifetime! Great food and the people we care about-- what a combination!
